Nora is a stand up comic and International Comedy Festival Director who feels she always has to be “on”. On, as an advocate, boss, community leader, friend. On, even when she doesn’t feel like it. Twenty years into her successful career in the entertainment business (male-identified) she makes a long-desired decision to change gender. Nora is a people pleaser, MILDLY paranoid, wondering if people are “sucking up” to her just to be politically correct. She is challenged by the idea that people could ever like her just for herself, and part of her relentless drive is to prove she is deserving of love. Experience in comedy a bonus but not essential.
